"My aim is to continue to support and grow DEVELOPMENT WORKS' implementation of software applications," says Jacques van Niekerk. "By doing so, the hope is that DEVELOPMENT WORKS will become a leader in the development sector."

With more than 16 years experience in the IT industry both in South-Africa and internationally, Jacques is currently employed as CEO (Chief Executive Officer) for the research and development unit of a multi-national media company.

"I always strive to provide cutting-edge technology and innovation to each and every project I pursue," says Jacques. "DEVELOPMENT WORKS is exploring the possibilities of utilising information technology in the development sector. The constant flow of innovative ideas from the DEVELOPMENT WORKS team, leads to creative new products, making it possible for people to contribute to the South-African development sector from all over the world."

Jacques has an Honours Degree in Econometrics, and an MPhil(IKM) degree from the University of Stellenbosch, specialising in knowledge management. He works for DEVELOPMENT WORKS as the Chief Technology Officer, facilitating and informing the IT aspects of the company.
