Khayelihle Mdakane“We need to live life so that everyday should be a good day to die”, says the Ladysmith–born, in KwaZulu-Natal. Khayelihle Mdakane (Khaye) believes in a well-lived life, one way of doing that is by making a difference to other people’s lives - perhaps that is what Creative Consulting and Development Works is all about.

Khaye holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of the Western Cape and is currently completing his Masters degree in Research Psychology at Stellenbosch University. He has worked in organisations which focus on TB and HIV, monitoring and evaluation and research.

Khaye has worked as a freelance researcher on masculinity studies and advocacy on children’s rights. He has worked at Wits University as an Institutional Researcher for Strategic Planning Division but his love for Cape Town led him to come back. Khaye remains in both researching and teaching studies in areas of masculinity, identity, migration, and positive psychology.
