Nondumiso Ntsengentsu

“No matter what your background is, it does not mean you can't survive in the future,” says Nondumiso Ntsengentsu who was “born, bred and buttered” in a rural area of the Eastern Cape. As a Communications Intern at Development Works she hopes to fulfill her dream of making a difference to people’s lives. She wants to inform people about what is happening in their surroundings and implement possible solutions.
 
Nondumiso completed her Diploma in Media Studies at Rosebank College In 2007. Some of the subjects she did include Public Relations, Photography, Business Communications, Advertising and Marketing. She is currently studying a National Diploma in Journalism at Cape Peninsula University of Technology with Media Communications and Media Production as major subjects.
 
She has worked in the Communications Department of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and is a member of Masibambane Youth Against Drugs, which now falls under the Gugulethu Youth Development Council (GYDC). Nondumiso is interested in youth development, politics, history, current affairs, sport, photography and public relations.
