The more we work in the development sector, the more we are convinced that development is not merely based on the application of prescribed strategies, theories and plans. In strategically and creatively treating each development issue or problem as a unique entity, we begin to better uncover and understand the complexities that lie beneath the surface. We can then better equip ourselves to address developmental issues in a more holistic and sustainable way.
We therefore invite you to share in, and engage with, the various lessons that we have learnt, the complex questions that we continue to seek answers to and the dreams that we hold for not only South Africa, but for our beautiful African continent. There are many positive projects and inspiring intiatives taking place in South Africa, as with progress in other developing countries. Lets talk about the positive outcomes, the good news, the success stories. Global dialogue around lessons learnt and sharing success stories is a step in the right direction.
